Solo Adventure and Cheap Holidays Abroad

Taking a solo adventure can be a bit daunting but definitely worth it.  Have you seen the movie "The Way" with Martin Sheen?  It is all about a father's solo travel adventure and about all the people he met and places he went to and about all the amazing things he was able to deal with within himself as he mourned the death of his son.  It was a deeply touching movie.  Traveling solo can be the best experience of a lifetime as you have more time to think and to reflect and come back to the normal life refreshed and ready to take on the world.

I have a friend who loves to travel solo through the countryside walking so that she can get to know the area, the people and nature.  She even loves to walk in the rain when she travels solo and then get back to her holiday destination and take a hot bath. Everyone has their own way of travelling solo. Check out cheap holidays abroad to see what your choices will be.

Solo Adventures
There are travel agencies set up offering cheap holidays for singles and for those wanting to travel solo.  One of the package deals is walking in the Swiss Alps.  Sounds like a great place to reflect and enjoy nature and get exercise. Check out the cheap holidays abroad.

Another place that seems like it is amazing it a trip to Siberia.  Imagine a holiday in Siberia!  Well, apparently it is a great place to go on a solo adventure/retreat.  They have remote huts that people can stay in and there are testimonies from people how great it was to escape everything.  Look for the cheap holidays abroad.

Some very interesting looking destinations for me are the remote beach huts in Bali or Goa or forest cabins or thatched cottages in Provence or the Inner Hebrides. My interest I think is the thatched cottage in Provence although it does sound amazing to have a beach hut in Goa or Bali.

Personal Space
It is important for each of us to take personal space and time to be renewed and refreshed.  Doesn't matter what kind of job or lifestyle we have, it is vital to our well-being to switch off and just be or experience something different.  What better way to do that than to travel solo and be open to all the adventures and encounters that come your way.

Some people find that on solo holidays, they prefer to stay indoors more and read or relax.  Others prefer to be more active and trek through the mountains or woods and be one with nature.  Whatever it is that makes you happy, it is important to do it to bring the body, mind and soul back to wholesomeness.

Advantages of Solo Travel
Well, the first one is easy - being alone.  Why is it an advantage? You are in charge. Simple.  You don't have to worry about anyone else.  You just do what it is that you want to do.  It is also easy to meet other people.  They tend to be more open to speaking with someone by themselves rather than a group. The "alone time" will help you reflect on yourself and get to know yourself better. It is cheaper sometimes to travel alone as you don't have to spend as much on food and drinks.  Employers are impressed if you have travelled and went by yourself.  It shows confidence and leadership and that you have experience outside of your normal world. So check out cheap holidays abroad to find out what you can do.

So Heritage Tourism is not new but it is being revived and is the fashionable way to take a holiday.  Solo travel is a great way to see the world and get to know yourself better and what better way to do it than to go to a World Heritage site.  Here is a summary of why it is good to travel solo:
