Planning weekday meals can be incredibly stressful, especially if you and your family are constantly on the go. One of the best ways to ensure that your family still receives a delicious and healthy meal is to prepare and freeze meals on the weekend. You can easily pull a meal from the freezer, heat it up, and go! Here is a list of our five favorite freezer meals.

Lasagna
Lasagna and other noodle casseroles are some of the easiest freezer meals. Just put together your lasagna just like you usually would: cook and drain the noodles according to package directions and layer them in a 9" x 13" casserole dish with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, ricotta and cottage cheese and browned hamburger. When it's all put together, cover the dish with foil and place directly in the freezer. When you're ready to eat, just pull it out of the oven and bake at 450 degrees for about an hour.
Calzones
This is another easy freezer meal that the whole family will love. One perk is that you can make many of them at once and reheat them as you need them. All you need is a package of frozen dinner roll dough and as many pizza fillings as you want. This could include: sauce, cheese, basil, tomatoes, hamburger, peppers, onions, and more. After allowing the dough to rise, roll them flat and stuff them with your toppings, folding the dough over itself to create a pocket. Right after assembly, put them in the freezer wrapped in tin foil. When you're ready to eat them, bake them straight from the freezer at 400 degrees until the tops are golden brown.
Hamburgers
You can make as many hamburger patties as you want all at once and freeze them, putting them on our top five easiest freezer dinners list. Just mix your favorite seasonings into ground beef using a mixer or blender on a low speed, such as a refurbished kitchenaid blender then flatten them into patties. Once that is done, freeze them in plastic baggies. When you're ready to eat, just pull them out of the freezer and fry them in a little oil.
Browned Hamburger
Freezing browned hamburger renders your meal possibilities endless during your busy week. Just cook according to package directions and freeze in plastic baggies. To make a quick dinner, you can add taco seasoning to make tacos or taco pizza, add it to spaghetti sauce or even make sloppy joes!
Chili
This is a warm and hearty meal that freezes well and also adds variety to your meals. Add diced tomatoes, browned hamburger, tomato sauce and paste any variety of beans and chili spices to a pot; stir it all together and freeze it in jars. You can thaw it in the refrigerator, then heat it up again in a pot on the stove or in the microwave and serve it with corn chips and sour cream or over baked potatoes.
